What is Gaelic Mysts about? Open Source Web Development and their associative technologies. Now while that is sure a pretty way to say something without actually saying anything it’s as accurate as I can be with our blog.

In all truthfulness however, it is a bit daunting to try and condense our function down to a couple of lines of philosophical back-story. Let’s just say that the open-source type person, should be quite at home here. While I post on many topics, my main goal is to try and cater as much as possible to the open source framework. Yes, yes, I know at times I will post about blogging techniques, blogs that I have found, and even rants about how somebody is screwing stuff up, but I try to at least dance around the idea of open source and what it is all about.

Now if you are asking the question, “Why should I add you to my feed reader, or why should I subscribe?” That is much easier to answer. I provide portal to the world of Web Development and its Open Source brothers and sisters, with an enjoyable reading format. I tend to wax long with my writing style, which makes me a bit different from alot of blogs out there. If you were to pick up a magazine to read about something, my styling is what you would find.
